TitanPoker.com, leading member of the iPoker online poker network, recently increased the total prize pool for its 2009 Million Dollar Race. As opposed to the previously announced $1 Million prize pot, winners will now claim a share of $2,500,000 in prizes, which will be regularly distributed throughout the four month competition
The February leg of the race will award the top 800 qualifiers a portion of that month’s $1.5 Million in designated prizes. Of that total, the first place finisher will receive a cool $1 Million.
The Million Dollar Race is a contest that ranks cash table players based on their gaming activity within the specified month. To participate, players need only sign up and play at any Titan Poker cash table. February’s winners will claim prizes sizably larger than similar contests in other iPoker network online poker rooms.
In addition to prize money awarded winners, Club Titan players can collect cash by simply hitting designated “hotspots” on the Million Dollar Race leaderboard. “Hotspots” are spread over low and high level playing frequencies; even Titan Poker players who maintain a casual level of play have a chance at hitting one.
