iPoker Network member, Titan Poker, recently extended its poker services to Dutch speaking players. The March launch of Titan’s Dutch language site means the popular poker room is now offered in 12 languages, a number that includes standards like French, German and Spanish, as well as less frequently supported languages like Norwegian, Finnish and Russian.
Titan is currently one of the most trafficked poker sites on the web, a fact aided, in part, by its membership in the ipoker network, the third largest-and growing-poker network on the web. Noting a recent surge in player activity in the Netherlands, ipoker and Titan determined it was time to further expand its player base and accommodate and underserved community.
Dutch players who download Titan Poker will now be asked to select a preferred language from a list that includes their own. Once installed, those players can play poker with international opponents while viewing menus and statistics in their mother tongue. Should customer service be necessary, Titan Poker provides multi-language support by way of email and chat. In addition to broad language supports, Titan’s popularity is the result of frequent promotional offers. The most celebrated of these is its European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP IV).
This year’s ECOOP tournament begins May 25^th , but tournament satellites are already under way. The event will feature Limit and No Limit Holdem, plus Seven Card Stud and Pot Limit Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo events, and will award players a guaranteed prize pool of $4,550,000. |
